Aiming to Prevent Coronavirus Outbreak
For the immediate term, we have been asked to suspend regular treatments until further notice. As a result, all regularly scheduled appointments between today and April 5th have been canceled. The advisory states that emergency treatment can continue. At Milton Central Dental, we take patient and staff safety extremely seriously. As a matter of regular protocol, we follow all of Public Health Ontario’s guidelines on sterilization and always work to ensure we are in compliance with the latest guidelines regarding infection control.
COVID-19 is a new threat to the world, and we are working to re-open soon in order to be able to safely and effectively treat dental emergencies in the office. In the DENTAL EMERGENCY message form, please do the following:
- State your full name and contact phone number.
- Describe your dental emergency as much as you can.
- If possible, send a photograph of the area that needs dental treatment.
We will work to answer all emails within a 20-30 minute timeframe, unless it is an after hours or overnight correspondence. We will answer all of your emails, but if you do not hear from us within 20-30 minutes, and you are experiencing any of the following:
- Facial trauma
- Prolonged bleeding
- Extreme pain that cannot be managed by over the counter medications
Please go to your nearest emergency clinic or hospital.
We will stay in regular touch with you as we work on a strategy to re-open our clinics to see dental emergencies.
